Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Ash Grove Contractors Ltd ("the Company", “we”, “us”, or “our”), a building and construction company operating under the laws of England and Wales.

By engaging our services, you (“the Client”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you should not proceed with our services.

1. Services Provided

Ash Grove Contractors Ltd provides general building and construction services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential and commercial construction

  • Renovations and extensions

  • Groundworks and site preparation

  • Project management

  • Other associated building services as agreed in writing

All services are subject to written agreement, quotation, or contract between the parties.

2. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are subject to change based on scope modifications, unforeseen site conditions, material price increases, or regulatory changes.

  • Any additional works outside the original scope must be agreed upon in writing and may incur extra charges.

3. Payments

  • Payment terms will be outlined in the contract or quotation.

  • A deposit may be required before works commence.

  • Progress payments may be requested based on project milestones or stages.

  • Late payments may incur interest at [insert rate, e.g., 4% above the Bank of England base rate] per month and may result in suspension of work.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide clear access to the site during agreed working hours

  • Obtain all necessary permissions, permits, or approvals (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Ensure the site is safe and free from hazards not related to the construction work

  • Communicate promptly with Ash Grove Contractors Ltd regarding any changes or concerns

5. Delays and Force Majeure

Ash Grove Contractors Ltd is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Strikes, lockouts, or labor disputes

  • Acts of God, fire, flood, or other natural disasters

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise delays and keep the Client informed.

6. Warranties and Liability

  • All work is carried out to a professional standard in accordance with applicable building regulations.

  • We offer a [insert warranty period, e.g., 12-month] workmanship warranty from the completion date.

  • Ash Grove Contractors Ltd is not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.

  • Liability is limited to the value of the contract unless otherwise required by law.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement if the other breaches material terms and fails to remedy such breach within 14 days of written notice.

Upon termination, the Client will pay for all work completed and materials ordered up to the termination date.

8. Ownership of Materials

Materials supplied remain the property of Ash Grove Contractors Ltd until full payment is received. We reserve the right to remove unpaid-for materials upon non-payment.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration before taking legal action.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

Ash Grove Contractors Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes that affect existing contracts.
